Youth Tour

Oklahoma Youth Tour is an annual, weeklong, all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., for high school students selected and sponsored by their local rural electric cooperative.

Since 1964, Choctaw Electric Cooperative has offered this leadership opportunity to High School Juniors within CEC's service area.

Canidates are chosen based on a written exam and personal interviews.

In addition to being a lot of fun, Youth Tour builds relationship and leadership skills pertinent for the future!

Students will meet and interact with Oklahoma's federal delegation and learn the importance of current issues and policies throughout the state and nation.

Connections and relationships will form during the weeklong trip and everlasting friendships will be created.

Experiences include
