Choctaw Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Customer Service Representative (CSR).
The CSR reports to the Billing and Customer Service Manager and will receive and process payments, answer and respond to incoming telephone calls and inbound customer visits to support a positive customer service experience.
Position will also assist in taking and setting up new member applications, opening and sorting of mail, perform routine customer account maintenance and other duties as requested by the Billing and Customer Service Manager.
Applicant must be personable and customer oriented and ensure all assignments/transactions are completed with attention to detail and accuracy.
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs is necessary and any other software application experience is preferred. Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information, work calmly and effectively under pressure and communicate with different personality types.
This position requires a high school degree or equivalent, an associate degree is preferred. Job position will primarily be at the Antler’s office location with the possibility of working at any of our other offices located in Hugo and Idabel.
