Choctaw Electric Cooperative works year-round to make sure we’re ready to respond to outages. When severe weather is predicted, our trucks are stocked and our crews are ready to mobilize if an outage occurs. Back at headquarters, our team monitors our system 24/7, so if your power goes out, we can start working immediately to get you back up-and-running. This Outage Center will keep you up-to-date on any current outages.
How your power is restored
When Electricity goes out, most of us expect power will be restored within a few hours. But when a major storm causes widespread damage, longer outages may result.
Co-op line crews work long, hard hours to restore service safely to the greatest number of consumers in the shortest time possible. Here's what's going on if you find yourself in the dark.
