What Does the Home Energy AUDIT Offer?
A home energy audit expert from Choctaw Electric Cooperative conducts a whole-home energy audit. The audit checks your homes ability to seal in heat and air, checks for potential duct leakage and ensures an adequate amount of attic insulation. Please click on the Home Energy Audit Checklist below to see what all is evaluated during the audit.
Members will receive on-site suggestions for upgrades for efficiency. Members may choose to do nothing, or they may select improvements based on their budget.
Those who choose to make upgrades may be eligible for a low interest loan from CEC. All the work must be performed by a licensed professional contractor.
Who is Eligible to Participate in the Home Energy Efficiency Loan Program?
The Home Energy Efficiency Loan Program is available to residential members living in single-family homes. However, members living in mobile homes are welcome to contact our Energy Specialist, Brad Kendrick, to receive helpful resources including specific ways to cut energy costs.
